Bidfolio
Rules

Rank is the bid.

Nothing else affects your position. No algorithm, no editorial pick, no jury. The list is sorted by money, descending.

Bidding

  • $1 gets you on the list. There is no free tier: every row here paid for its place.
  • Raises go up in steps of $1, and you only pay the difference between your current bid and your new one.
  • Equal bids keep entry order, so an identical bid never displaces someone who got there first.
  • Single payments are capped at $2,000. Raise in steps to go higher; it adds up to the same bid.
  • Ranks are not reserved. If someone bids while your payment is processing, you land wherever your money puts you, and we'll show you exactly what it costs to fix it.

Your listing

  • Your URL is your listing. To raise your bid, submit the same URL again. There are no accounts and nothing to log into.
  • A URL can only be listed once, by whoever gets there first.
  • Listings aren't editable. Your name and one-liner are fixed once you've paid, so proofread before you do. Email us if something is badly wrong.
  • The board shows a name, a line of text and your site's favicon. It deliberately does not show your work. People have to click to see it, and that is what you are buying.
  • Chat and invite links aren't allowed: Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal and the like. Link shorteners aren't either.
  • Tracking parameters are stripped from your URL. Clicks go to the clean link.
  • No sexual content. No work that isn't yours. No impersonation.
  • Break these and the listing comes down without a refund. The bid stays spent: it bought the placement it got.

Months

  • A season is a calendar month, closing at 00:00 UTC on the 1st.
  • At close, the top 10 are frozen permanently into the Hall of Fame, with the bid it took to hold the spot.
  • Then bids reset and the floor is $1 again. Nobody gets to own the top of the list forever. That is the point of months.
  • Your profile page and your Hall of Fame titles are permanent. Those never reset.

Money

  • Bids are non-refundable. You are buying a listing placement for the remainder of the month, and it is delivered the moment you are on the board.
  • Being outbid is not a refund event. It is the product working as described: you keep every click you got while you held the rank.
  • This is not a competition of chance, a lottery, or an auction with a winner. Nothing is awarded at random and nothing is held in escrow. You pay for a position, and you get that position.
  • Click counts are public and rate-limited per visitor, so the number on your listing is a number you can quote.
